In 2012 I set up an informal collective of artists and called it Green Horse Art. With this group I organised a couple of charity projects in the last few years.
First we helped the event rider Emily Baldwin raise the funds for a new horse. In September 2013 we held an art auction of the artworks donated by the artists and we managed to raise nearly £14,000.
In the following year I organised another fundraising auction, this time for the benefit of The Children's Trust, a leading UK charity providing care, rehabilitation and education for the children with brain injury, multiple disabilities and complex health needs. The donated works of art were auctioned on the 3 April 2014 and all the sales proceeds went directly to The Children's Trust.
Both auctions were held at Mary Ward House, a Grade 1 listed building in Bloomsbury.
